It gives information on the environmental performance of our UltraCarb® products in a variety of categories, including CO2 footprint.

UltraCarb® products are used as non-toxic, flame-retardant fillers and are rich in huntite and hydromagnesite. The products are designed for use in various polymers and rubbers, such as polyethene, polypropylene, PVC, and EPDM. UltraCarb has a unique 3-stage fire retardant mechanism and is activated at temperatures above 220°C.

This latest EPD is part of an initiative to have accurate and third-party verified environmental data for all our products. This is an important step in understanding how to reduce the environmental impact of our products. The EPDs also enable our customers to calculate their product’s impact from cradle to grave, with confidence in the data we’ve provided.
