Sustainable business practises
In line with The UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 we will publish the statement each year and make this available through the LKAB group websites.
Inline with international ethical standards
LKAB’s commitment to human rights includes principles which are recognised in international human rights standards. Examples of these standards are:
- Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR)
- ILO core conventions of labour standards
- UN Global Compact
- UN Guiding Principles for Business and Human Rights
- OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises
- Children’s Rights and Business Principles.
We commit to operating responsibly and establishing high ethical standards across our company. Therefore, respecting human rights is the basis of our Code of Conduct, which covers all employees. You can find this commitment in our Human Rights Policy.
