The efficient use of GGBS in concrete
GGBS, a by-product of iron and steel production, has a history of use as an environmentally friendly alternative to cement. This product has the ability to replace the CEM-I content by up to 90%. During this webinar, we will cover the characteristics of GGBS in concrete, its environmental benefits, as well as some of the more recent case studies where GGBS concrete has been used.

The use of high density concrete to overcome more complex civil engineering challenges has been well documented in recent years. However, we still receive questions regarding the properties of high density concrete and the challenges producers and pumping companies face when installing it. With guest speakers Jack Sindhu (Technical Manager for Capital Concrete) and Andrew Turner (Special Projects Manager at Camfaud Concrete Pumps), this webinar will outline some of the properties of high density concrete, the production considerations and the ease of which it can be placed.
