Wear resistance

For the protection of wear-intensive parts, tungsten carbide and molybdenum are used.

Tungsten Carbide is one of the hardest carbides available and thus extremely suitable for the production of drill heads, turning tools for metalworking, circular saws and other wear-intensive parts.

Molybdenum, which has similar characteristics to tungsten, is also used for the production of protective coatings on abrasive parts and cutting tools.
